Cindy Copeland is an air quality specialist with over 16 years of experience in the field. She started her career in EPA Region 8’s Air Program as the Particulate Matter Program Manager. She received her MS in Environmental Studies from the University of Colorado and worked for EDF before becoming a freelance environmental consultant. In 2011, she put together comments in response to EPA’s proposed oil and gas regulations, arguing that methane emissions can and should be regulated under federal rules. Cindy Copeland also sits on the Sierra Club Rocky Mountain Chapter’s Oil and Gas Committee.
